Earlier this year, to commemorate the 250th anniversary of Veuve Clicquot, Travel and Luxury magazine had me venture to the maison’s historic cellars in Reims to unearth its sparkling backstory.
To uncork more about the most luxurious places to stay, the best places to eat, and a wonderful guide to tour with in Reims, you can read more here or with a subscription to The Australian.
Last year, I was lucky enough to get to write a series of articles about an absolutely picturesque road trip along the Route des Grands Crus in Burgundy. To follow along on that particular journey through Meursault, Aloxe-Corton, Gevrey-Chambertin, and Nuits-Saints-Georges, you can check it out here or read up on it over on Chateau de Pommard’s blog.

Invited 15 people to my home for an impromptu Thanksgiving. My butcher laughed in my face when I requested a turkey, large castrated rooster or even a big chicken. But Bon Marché came through with a mysterious piece of poultry the size of a toddler. It's a Thanksgiving Miracle of Miracles!
Bonus points for the head, feet and all the organs.
Medieval torture instrument, scene from Fifty Shades of Grey, or Pilates equipment? It's unclear what I have signed up for or why there are sheepskin cuffs involved...
